The African Centre for Media Excellence (ACME)

The African Centre for Media Excellence (ACME) is a Kampala-based independent, non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit professional organisation committed to helping African journalists to seek and achieve excellence as well as improving journalism and mass communication in Africa.

Design, Health and Community project

The Design, Health and Community project (2007- 2008), is a collaboration between the School of Design, Northumbria University, UK., the Department of Graphic Design, Durban University of Technology, South Africa, and the Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Arts (MTSIFA), Makerere University, Uganda. The project focuses on the role of design in the development of an integrated and symbiotic approach to health education and economic advancement.

Street Children NGOs Network (SCNN)

Street Children NGOs Network (SCNN), is an alliance of NGOs addressing the problem of children living and working on city streets of Kampala and other urban centers in Uganda.

The Purpose of SCNN is to promote a joint platform that will sustainably prevent and withdraw children from living and working on the streets through capacity building and networking of member NGOs, Advocacy and Research .
